We're Valued at $18M — Because Our Customers Trusted Us

We're now valued at $18M. Honestly, it's because of you.
I'll get straight to it: DSALTA just closed a new round of funding led by İş Bankası Artificial Intelligence Factory, valuing the company at $18 million. That's genuinely exciting news, and normally this is the part of the post where we'd talk about valuation and what it means for our roadmap.
But if I'm being honest, the number that matters most to us isn't the $18M. It's the nearly 100 customers who trusted us with something that's genuinely scary to hand over to a startup: their compliance posture, their audit timelines, their ability to close deals with their own customers.
We did not reach this milestone on a pitch deck alone. Our customers demonstrated that DSALTA could help companies become audit-ready faster and with far less manual work, and that track record gave investors confidence in what we are building.
The trust came first. The funding is just proof of it.
When a customer comes to us, they're usually stressed. Maybe a big deal is stuck in security review. Maybe a healthcare partner just told them they need HIPAA. Maybe their board is asking why SOC 2 still isn't done six months in.
What we've watched happen, over and over, is this: they connect their cloud infrastructure, their source code, their identity provider, their support tools and the DSALTA AI Agent gets to work. It drafts the policies. It pulls the evidence. It runs the checks. It builds the risk inventory. Where it used to take a team of consultants six months to get SOC 2 Type I ready, we've had customers get there in as little as 7 days.
That's not a stat we made up for a pitch deck. That's what happens when customers actually trust the product enough to connect their real systems to it — and then come back and tell other companies to do the same. 100 of them have, in just twelve months, almost entirely through word of mouth. That's the real reason this valuation happened. The number is just catching up to something our customers already knew.
Why we started DSALTA in the first place
This part's personal. Before DSALTA, my co-founder Doğan Akbulut was building his own company and watched it come apart, partly because of compliance. Not because the product, nor the team wasn't good enough, but because a handful of legacy suppliers had decided compliance had to mean months of manual work, a five-figure invoice, and a dedicated team most early-stage companies don't have. He didn't have the time, the headcount, or the budget to absorb that, and the company paid for it in a much worse way than money.
That's really the moment DSALTA started. Not as a market opportunity we spotted from the outside, but as a problem one of our own founders lived through and didn't want anyone else to go through.
So, when Doğan and I sat down to build DSALTA, the goal was never "make compliance faster." It was to ensure another founder would not lose months of runway, engineering time, or their own company to a process that has nothing to do with whether their product is good. Compliance shouldn't be the thing that quietly kills a startup while the team is heads-down trying to build. That's the whole reason DSALTA exists.
One platform, 50+ frameworks — and growing
We built DSALTA so that getting ready for one framework doesn't mean starting from zero on the next. Today, we support more than 50 frameworks and standards, including the ones our customers ask for most:
SOC 2 — still the baseline most B2B buyers expect
ISO 27001 — for international and enterprise deals
HIPAA — for anyone touching protected health information
GDPR — for anyone processing EU personal data
PCI DSS — for anyone handling cardholder data
HITRUST — the standard healthcare and high-risk vendors keep getting asked for
AIUC-1 — the new security, safety, and reliability standard for AI agents, which we added because so many of our own customers are now shipping agentic AI into production
Under the hood, we map shared controls across all of them, so evidence a customer collects once can satisfy overlapping requirements everywhere else. Customers don't think in terms of "frameworks." They think in terms of "can I close this deal." Our job is to make the framework part invisible.
Why İş Bankası AI Factory Backed DSALTA
Can Bakır, CEO of İş Bankası Artificial Intelligence Factory, summed up why they backed us: enterprise compliance and third-party risk management are becoming make-or-break issues as companies expand internationally, and he sees real global potential in how DSALTA's AI agents make that process faster, more accessible, and more scalable. Coming from a firm with deep visibility into AI-driven companies scaling internationally, that means a lot to us.
What happens next
This new funding goes straight back into two things: the product, and our push into the US and European markets. We got here almost entirely on our own resources, without a major raise, just customers who kept renewing and referring us. We're not planning to lose that instinct now that we have outside capital behind us. If anything, it's the reason we're doubling down on making the product better for the customers already trusting us with their audits.
If you're facing a compliance deadline right now, whether it's your first SOC 2 or your first AIUC-1 assessment, we would genuinely like to help.
